The Weasel and the Mice
有一只黄鼠狼，随着年龄的增大，逐渐力不从心，捕捉不到猎物了。他想到了一个不错的办法。首先，他来到一个存放面粉的地方，然后躺在一个黑暗的角落里。一只想要偷吃面粉的老鼠进入了他的视野。由于这只老鼠没有丝毫防备，因此黄鼠狼一下子就把他抓住了，接着饱餐了一顿。就这样，他成功地抓获了第二只、第三只，以致更多的老鼠。
有一只经验非常丰富、成功躲过很多陷阱的老鼠从远处看到了他狡猾的敌人，对他说：“啊，原来你在这里啊！你之所以能成功就是因为你做了这样的伪装啊！”
身体的力量削弱时，就只能依靠头脑的计策了。
A Weasel，inactive from age and infirmities，was not able to catch mice as he once did. He therefore rolled himself in flour and lay down in a dark corner. A Mouse，supposing him to be food，leaped upon him，and was instantly caught and squeezed to death. Another perished in a similar manner，and then a third，and still others after them.
